On July 17, the National Development and Reform Commission and other nine departments jointly issued the "Notice on Solidly Promoting Plastic Pollution Control", which defined detailed standards for ban management. The central government issued two documents, demonstrating the determination of the Chinese government in tackling plastic pollution.
